How to produce premium testimonial videos?
A testimonial video is more than just a filmed conversation. What do you need in order to produce premium testimonial videos?
Here are 4 tips to produce premium testimonial videos from our in-house film team:
- The filming location is crucial to produce good testimonial videos. The interview needs to take place in the right type of environment and with the right type of conditions e.g. good lighting, no disturbing back-ground noise from calls, traffic, ventilation systems etc.
- Don’t underestimate the power of B-roll. B-roll materials are secondary film clips that visually enhance the content of the conversation. Usually we record the interview before we produce the b-roll.
- The background matters. The space behind the interviewee occupies 90% of the image area, so it is important that it looks appealing and is aligned with the objective of the video. Our team is happy to help you find a space that is suitable for your testimonial videos.
- Plan with the end result in mind. A testimonial video is more than just a filmed conversation. Fast clips and upbeat music can convey spontaneity and energy, whereas slow and sweeping film conveys security and stability.
